what’s hot and what’s not.
Yyoga, I got a bone to pick with you.
Well not really… but in you’re advertising you’re bragging about all these fancy infrared saunas at your studios.
Okay that’s cool, it’s obviously working… as I sat shoulder to shoulder with 8 other girls and one sweaty man bending over in the corner who shall remain unnamed… Geordie… of a hot, very hot, tiny 8 foot by 8 foot room.
But give me the facts.
I am not going to lie, I ate a little bit too closely to sitting in that sauna today, and it wasn’t exactly what my tummy was calling for. But it did get me skeptical and that got me thinking.
What are the benefits of sitting in a tiny little 60ºC room?
Most of the answers I have been getting are filled with sentences ending in highe frequencies than they began. That means uncertainty. But Franceska told me it warms you from the inside out. I am into that. Especially in this chill you to the bone Vancouver kind of weather. And the main answer I have been getting is detox… well okay that’s fine, but I can sweat from a good old yoga class too.
So what’s the point?
Well.. I don’t know yet. I am going to have to hit the books… or google… on this one.
I’ll be back.
